It can be used by researchers, clinicians, or teachers without permission. The original DHQ I was designed based on cognitive research findings, to be easy to use. It had 124 food items and included both portion size and dietary supplement questions. The DHQ II has a food list that has been updated based on more recent dietary data and consists of 134 food items and 8 dietary supplement questions.
